Fun, fun, fun with Legos! Join Mr Kemal, who has his own passion for legos in Lego Lab!  Lego Lab is where children who have a love for Legos can learn to become a Master Builder.  This program was created to drive each child’s building capability to a higher level of design and engineering.

 FILM CLUB 

Get ready for an exciting exploration as we delve into a wide array of film genres, including fiction, documentary, animation, and other artistic expressions like photography and soundtracks. With Mr Mo, our drama teacher and film enthusiast, children will learn the fundamentals of film direction, storytelling, creating engaging plots, developing characters, capturing raw footage, various filming techniques, and the art of editing. Our club aims to ignite their creativity and imagination by immersing them in captivating fictional tales, eye-opening documentaries, and enchanting animations. Join us as we embark on a journey of cinematic discovery, unleashing their creativity and passion for filmmaking. Children will need to have their own filming equipment that will be used exclusively during the time of the club (i.e. camera, tablet or phone). This club is more suitable for ages 9-12 years old. 

MONDAY and TUESDAY 3:30-4:30

Our Greek Club offers students in Lower Elementary (LE) and Upper Elementary (UE) the opportunity to strengthen and practice their Greek language skills in a supportive, engaging environment. Taking place on the same day, the club is split into two groups (one for LE and
the other for UE) led by two of our dedicated Greek teachers, allowing students to receive instruction tailored to their level—whether they are native speakers or non-native learners.
Through fun and meaningful activities—some unique to the club and others designed to reinforce classroom learning—students will build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing Greek. Activities may include games, creative projects, storytelling, group discussions, and interactive grammar practice. In addition to club-specific learning, students
will also receive extra support with their in-class Greek assignments, helping them deepen their understanding and mastery of the language.

This club is a wonderful opportunity for students to grow their skills, connect with peers, and experience the joy of language learning in a relaxed and encouraging setting.

WEDNESDAY 3:30-4:30

Our Crochet Club, led by Ms. Tanita, is the perfect space for students to explore and grow their crochet skills, whether they're just beginning or already have some experience. Designed for all levels, the club offers a supportive and creative environment where students with basic knowledge can start their crochet journey, while more advanced students can
continue building their expertise. Each week, participants will strengthen their skills through hands-on practice and learn new techniques to expand their abilities. From mastering the basics to taking on more complex projects, students will gain confidence and enjoy the art of crochet together.

WEDNESDAY 3:30-5:30

We are delighted to introduce the STEMFREAK Programme delivered in collaboration with the STEMFREAK Research, Innovation, and Educational Centre. This innovative STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) enrichment programme engages children in hands-on, interdisciplinary projects that connect learning with real-world challenges. Rooted in creativity, sustainability, and collaboration, the programme inspires young learners to explore how science, technology, and art shape the world—and how they can be part of building its future. The programme is offered as a two-hour session for Levels 1 and 2 of the STEAM Ambassadors Pathway, designed for primary-aged students. These levels are structured around microcredentials linked to 'Big Ideas'—core interdisciplinary concepts such as sustainability, digital creativity, systems thinking, and ethical innovation. Through engaging activities, students develop key skills like problem-solving, teamwork, digital literacy, and
environmental awareness while working on meaningful projects.
A key strength of the programme is its certification pathway, which begins from Level 1 and continues through Level 5, where students earn the title of STEAM Ambassador. Certification is conducted by the Cyprus Certification Company, a globally recognised organisation and member of IQNET, ensuring international credibility. The certification process is based on the development of specific skills and the understanding of Big Ideas, assessed through challenge-based tasks and the creation of a personal e-portfolio that documents each learner’s growth, creativity, and achievement.

The benefits of incorporating chess into a child's education are truly remarkable and cannot be overstated. Chess serves as a catalyst for brain growth, stimulating and exercising both sides of the brain simultaneously. Beyond its reputation as a game, chess is known to ignite creativity and foster the development of problem-solving skills. Under the guidance of our trusted chess teacher, Mark Bryan, an experienced chess trainer and player, children will delve into the intricate world of chess.

The Art Club is a lively after-school activity at our elementary school that encourages creativity and self-expression. Open to all grades, it offers various artistic experiences like drawing, painting, and sculpting. Students will explore different techniques, work on collaborative projects, and showcase their artwork, all in a fun and relaxing environment.

FRIDAY 2:00-3:15

Exploration Of Emotional and Life Skills 

Deep down to the land of “MySelf” myths and truths lurk. A well-hidden secret and a mystery to be solved for the greatest explorers! An afternoon club or an adventure to creatively play and explore feelings, thoughts, life skills and many many more! This club aims to create a space for creativity, exploration, and imagination to evolve. Let’s try and give some answers to the big question: Who am I?  Led by Ms. Chrysilia Gkleka who holds a BSc in Psychology (University of Reading) and an MSc in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology (UCL), and who is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at University of Cyprus. She has completed a year-long introduction in drama and play therapy in Athens, Greece during which she worked with children and adolescents in various settings.

 Join the fun—our club welcomes up to 8 enthusiastic players! The Ping pong club offers a dynamic and engaging experience for students of all ages. Playing ping pong provides numerous physical, mental, and social benefits. It improves concentration, sharpens focus and mental alertness, enhances hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and strategic thinking. It
also helps reduce stress, increases heart rate, and builds endurance—especially during longer or competitive matches. The sport encourages quick footwork and offers a fun way to connect with friends, family, and new people through club activities. Ping pong is suitable for children, adults, and seniors alike, promoting values such as fair play, patience, and communication. The club is led by Ms. Louiza Kourea, a former national team player since the age of 10 and a seasoned trainer with over 15 years of experience. She works with players of all ages and levels, with a special focus on children aged 6–13.
